Emissions Control Card (KEK)
The Emissions Control Card is separate from the KTEO test and is usually renewed every year. We issue it in a few minutes.
The KEK certifies that your vehicle’s emissions are within the legal limits. It is independent of the roadworthiness test: you can get it together with your KTEO or on its own, whenever it suits you.
The test depends on the fuel: for petrol vehicles we measure carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons and check the catalytic converter, while for diesels we measure smoke opacity.

Frequently asked questions
Is it the same as the KTEO test?
No. The KTEO is the full roadworthiness test of the vehicle. The KEK only concerns exhaust emissions and is renewed more often.
Can I get it without a KTEO test?
Yes, it is issued separately and takes only a few minutes.
