What data we collect
We only collect what you give us, and only for the purpose you give it for:
- Contact form: name, phone number, optionally your email, and the content of your message.
- KTEO reminder form: name, phone number, optionally your email, number plate, vehicle category and the date of your next test.
- Phone calls: the details you tell us so we can help you or remind you of your test.
Form messages are sent directly to our business email; the website does not store them. The website does not use tools that track your behaviour and does not build user profiles.
Why we use it
- To answer your question or arrange your appointment.
- To remind you when your KTEO test or Emissions Card expires, if you have asked us to.
- To issue legally required receipts and invoices, where applicable.
The legal basis for the forms and reminders is your consent, which you give by ticking the relevant box. For keeping receipts and invoices, the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request. Reminder details are kept for as long as you wish to receive reminders. Tax documents are kept for as long as the law requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Only the people in our business who need to help you have access. To run the website and deliver the forms we use a hosting provider acting on our behalf. Data is shared with public authorities only when the law requires it as part of operating a KTEO centre.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:
- request access to the data we hold about you,
- request correction of inaccurate details,
- request deletion of your data,
- withdraw your consent at any time,
- object to processing or ask for it to be restricted,
- lodge a complaint with the Greek Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
